Motor Cyclist Killed in Collision

A motor cyclist has died after a collision on Airport Road yesterday afternoon.  The collision happened east of Terlton in Pawnee County.

Zachary Adams of Terlton was traveling at a high rate of speed when he left the roadway, overcorrected to return to the road and struck a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by James McGovern 65, also of Terlton.  McGovern was Life Flighted to St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa where he died due to his injuries.

Adams vehicle came to rest in a field.  According to the report alcohol was detected in Adams and he was arrested for a DUI.  Adams was not injured.
