A Mulhaull man was killed in a fatal accident that occurred at 6:25 p.m. Friday evening on U.S. 77, 3.5 miles north of Guthrie in Logan County.
Paul Fitzpatrick, 53, was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson Motorcycle northbound on the highway when he was going too fast for an upcoming curve, causing the motorcycle to depart the roadway to the right for 213 feet and striking a ditch. Fitzpatrick was pronounced dead on scene by Guthrie EMS due to internal trunk and head injuries. He was later transported to the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office in Oklahoma City, OK.
