According to the weekly epidemiology report on Wednesday, OSDH reported a total of 14,793 COVID-19 cases between August 15-21. During that time, 14,545 recoveries and 136 deaths were documented.
As of Wednesday, Oklahoma’s seen 534,922 COVID-19 cases as 20,191 are active. Oklahoma’s seen 30,986 hospitalizations.
Data shows that 3,717,622 total vaccine doses administered. This includes 2,057,606 individuals with at least 1 dose and 1,684,647 Oklahomans fully vaccinated.
The weekly report shows that 47.8% of the Kay County population has received at least 1 dose of the vaccine and 38.3% is fully vaccinated.
Oklahoma’s seen 5,446 breakthrough cases. Including 349 hospitalizations and 53 deaths. In the last 30 days, 189 breakthrough cases occurred. As for the non-vaccinated, there’s been 2,620 new cases in the last 30 days.
Oklahoma ranks 26th in total number of reported COVID-19 cases and COVID-19 deaths, 12th in the cumulative incidence per 100,000 persons of reported COVID-19 cases, 22nd in cumulative death rate, 23rd in the number of COVID-19 cases in the last 7 days, 14th in cumulative incidence of reported COVID-19 cases in last 7 days, 18th in number of COVID-19 deaths in the last 7 days and 9th in the cumulative death rate of reported COVID-19 cases in last 7 days.
