The series will be filmed in the area, pulling inspiration from Blackwell for the fictional town of Redemption, OK.

TV series creator, Tray Goodman, one of the owners of GCM Media (Great Creative Minds Media) and Blackwell native, will be leading a team of producers and writers as they meet with city officials such as T.J. Greenfield and other area residents. The TV series is inspired by Chester H. Crow, A former Blackwell Zinc Smelter worker and in later years a Pentecostal preacher in Nardin, OK. Tray Goodman is hoping to bring this wholesome TV series to Blackwell as they plan to shoot the first season of 6 episodes in the near future.

The current plan for the Phoenix, Arizona based company GCM Media is to open an office in Blackwell and to partner with the community. They hope to utilize the help of the Blackwell Chamber of Commerce, which is led by T.J. Greenfield. Tray and the GCM Media team also want to have involvement with his TV and film degree Alma mater, Oklahoma State University. He plans to partner with the university in the near future to give students a chance to have a boots on the ground role in the project.

In a recent interview, Tray was quoted as saying, “I really wanna make Blackwell, Oklahoma a real life destination for the TV audience. This program will attract and give back to my hometown”.
