NOC Responds To Incident On Enid Campus

The Northern Oklahoma College administration has responded to an incident that occurred on Jan. 22 during and immediately following a class lecture on the Enid campus. The incident involved a report of a verbal altercation with allegations of racism between students. On Thursday, Jan. 23, NOC responded to the numerous social media inquiries and reported the matter was under investigation.

After the college completed its investigation today, two students are being disciplined according to school policy. Northern Oklahoma College mentioned on Facebook that the school strives to provide a safe and productive learning environment. NOC President Cheryl Evans commented, “The college does not condone and will not tolerate inappropriate conduct toward any individual as this does not reflect the core values and governing policies of our Northern Oklahoma College community.”
