A three vehicle accident yesterday afternoon leaves a 78 year old Iowa woman in the hospital. Carla Dixon of Bellandorf, Iowa is in the OU Medical Center with head injuries after the accident around noon on I-35 just South of Perry in Noble County. Dixon’s husband Robert Dixon had stopped on the highway after hitting a guardrail and was struck on the passenger side by another car. Another car was involved but no one suffered injuries in the other two cars. Seatbelts were equipped and in use. The accident is still under investigation.
