The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,660 new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Wednesday, putting the state at 407,724 overall cases with 23,657 cases being active.
OSDH documented 30 new virus-related deaths on Wednesday, putting Oklahoma’s death toll to 3,900.
Kay County saw four new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 4,943 COVID-19 cases, 66 deaths and 4,628 recoveries. There are 249 active cases in the county, which is 36 less than Tuesday.Data for Kay County communities is posted below:

OSDH is also reporting 2,489 new recoveries for Wednesday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 380,167. The number of new recoveries more than doubled the number of new COVID-19 cases Wednesday. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
There have been 494,085 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 110,860 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 383,225. There have also been 371,975 prime doses allocated and 243,125 boost doses allocated.
