As of 11 a.m. Friday, the Oklahoma State Department of Health has documented 108 new COVID-19 cases since Thursday, bringing Oklahoma’s overall total to 2,465.
A total of 5 new deaths were reported on Friday, bringing the state’s total to 136. Those deaths include:
Two in Delaware County, both females in the 65 and older age group.
One in Tulsa County, a male in the 65 and older age group.
One in Creek County, a female in the 65 and older age group.
One in Greer County, a female in the 65 and older age group.
The OSDH website for coronavirus is currently going through changes as they are adding an interactive map and charts, so the known cases in Kay and surrounding counties is unknown at this time. Kay County was at 46 on Thursday.
However, we DO have more of an idea on COVID-19 cases in bigger communities as what can be seen by clicking coronavirus.health.ok.gov. Ponca City has reported 41 COVID-19 cases with 3 deaths, Enid reports 8 cases and 3 deaths, Stillwater with 21 cases and Guthrie with 8 cases. We will update once we find out more information.
Good news is that 1,441 Oklahomans have recovered from COVID-19.
