News on 6 is reporting that a Tulsa County woman has been arrested after deputies found over 100 dogs in her home. They also discovered seven cats, four chickens and six birds. The report states that Majorie Satterfield’s home and garage were filled with stacks of dog crates “covered in filth and feces and without water” and that the bird cages were “full of roaches and what appeared to be bed bugs.” Find a picture of Satterfield and the the News On 6 report when you click here.
The Tulsa World adds that, Satterfield deprived the animals of water, food, shelter and veterinary care. The fraud charges stem from the promotion of a “fraudulent animal obedience and training center while obtaining more than $1,000 from numerous pet owners who entrusted her with their animals.”
