The names of six Oklahoma law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty, including a Logan County Deputy and a Payne County officer, will soon be added to the state’s law enforcement memorial. The officers will be honored during the annual Oklahoma Law Enforcement Officer’s Memorial Service in Oklahoma City on May 18th.
Perkins officer Henry Cotton died April 29, 1986, following complications from a surgery for injuries sustained during a fight while making an arrest. Logan County Deputy Sheriff David Wade died in April of last year, after being shot several times while serving an eviction notice in Mulhall.
