25 year old Adam Bennett was dead at the scene of a crash Wednesday afternoon. The vehicle he was driving collided with a semi east of Wellington, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
Bennett, who lived in Winfield, was eastbound on 160 in a 2012 Chrysler 300 when he went left of center for an unknown reason, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. The Chrysler collided with a 1986 Peterbilt semi traveling westbound.
The driver of the semi, 57-year-old Timothy Godsey, of Wichita, was evaluated for possible injury.
Both men were using safety restraints, according the highway patrol.
