The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 2,787 COVID-19 for Friday, putting Oklahoma at 384,217 COVID-19 cases overall. There are 29,201 COVID-19 active cases in Oklahoma, which is 40 more than Thursday.
OSDH has documented 48 virus-related deaths for Friday, putting Oklahoma’s death toll to 3,471. Including a Kay County male from Newkirk in the 65 or older age group. Other deaths include two Pawnee County males and one male each for Garfield and Payne counties that were all in the 65 or older age group.
Kay County has 58 new COVID-19 cases and 37 recoveries for Friday, putting the county’s stats to 4,737 COVID-19 cases, 57 deaths and 4,236 recoveries. There are 444 active COVID-19 cases for Kay County, which is 20 more than Thursday. Data for communities within Kay County is posted below:

OSDH is also reporting 2,709 new recoveries for Friday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 351,545. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.
There have been 373,279 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 58,245 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 315,034. There have also been 315,600 prime doses allocated and 195,750 boost doses allocated.
Health officials report that as of Friday, there have been 2,772,970 total negative test results, 21,620 hospitalizations and 1,357 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19 with 387 patients in ICU..
