The Associated Press reports new developments in the December 1999 murders of Danny and Kathy Freeman and the disappearance of the couple’s 16 year old daughter, Ashley Freeman and her friend, also 16, Laura Bible, has been uncovered from notes and documents left over from the previous sheriff’s administration.
The Freemans were shot and killed and their home near Welch, set on fire. Their has never been a lead to the location of the two girls.
The OSBI is offering a $10,000 for credible information about the case. $50,000 in private donations for information on the cold case is also available.
