OSDH reporting 225 new COVID-19 cases, Number of active cases drops by 8,301


The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 225 new COVID-19 cases statewide for Wednesday, putting Oklahoma’s overall total of cases to 449,266. The 7-day rolling average for new COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma, according to OSDH, is 232. This is three less than Tuesday.

According to the latest data, there are 2,354 active COVID-19 cases. This is 8,042 less than the last report from Tuesday. No new deaths were reported as the state’s death toll remains at 8,301.

Kay County has seen eight new COVID-19 cases, putting the county at 5,313 COVID-19 cases, 126 deaths and 5,177 recoveries. Therefor, Kay County has 10 active cases.

OSDH also reports that as of Wednesday, there have been 2,721,002 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered. This includes 1,236,040 prime doses given and 1,036,513 completed series. All Oklahomans ages 16 and older can receive the vaccine. Learn more by going to
