Viral disease. 3d illustrationThe Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 713 new positive COVID-19 cases on Monday, putting the statewide total to 58,733 cases since the start of the pandemic, and 8,749 cases are active.As for new cases, there are none to report for Kay County, For local counties, Payne County continues to see an increase with 35 new cases, there are 20 new cases for Garfield County, nine for Logan County, five for Washington County, four for Osage County, two for Pawnee County and one each for Grant and Noble counties.One additional virus-related death was reported for Monday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 800. The individual was a Cleveland County woman in the 65 or older age group.OSDH is reporting 251 new recoveries on Monday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 49,184. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.Officials also report that as of Friday, 806,545 test results have returned negative.
