OSDH reporting 85 new COVID-19 cases Tuesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 85 new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Tuesday. The state has seen an overall total of 450,400 COVID-19 cases as 1,701 cases are active.

One death was documented on Tuesday to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 8,337. OSDH also documented 137 more hospitalizations as the overall total of hospitalizations is 26,014.

Kay County has seen 5,313 COVID-19 cases, 126 deaths and 5,177 recoveries. Kay County currently has 10 active COVID-19 cases.

PONCA CITY – 3,889 COVID-19 cases/81 deaths/3,805 recoveries

BLACKWELL – 682 COVID-19 cases/27 deaths/652 recoveries

NEWKIRK – 439 COVID-19 cases/6 deaths/431 recoveries

TONKAWA – 375 COVID-19 cases/15 deaths/359 recoveries

KAW CITY – 64 COVID-19 cases/3 deaths/60 recoveries

BRAMAN – 24 COVID-19 cases/1 death/23 recoveries

GARFIELD – 7,797 COVID-19 cases/128 deaths/7,644 recoveries

PAWNEE – 1,781 COVID-19 cases/48 deaths/1,727 recoveries

NOBLE – 1,379 COVID-19 cases/19 deaths/1,357 recoveries

OSDH also reports that as of Wednesday, March 5, there have been 2,721,002 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered. This includes 1,236,040 prime doses given and 1,036,513 completed series.
