The Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 1,374 new COVID-19 cases For Saturday and Sunday. This includes 706 cases Saturday and 668 cases Sunday. No new cases were reported Monday due to a system change.
According to the situation report, Oklahoma’s seen 645,352 COVID-19 cases since early 2020. A total of 6,427 cases are active. The new cases 7 day average is 680. The CDC provisional death count is 11,384.
According to the latest data from Wednesday, October 27, Kay County has seen an overall total of 7,280 COVID-19 cases, 164 deaths and 6,950 recoveries. Kay County has 166 active COVID-19 cases.
If you’re needing to get tested for COVID-19, the Kay County Health Department has COVID-19 testing available by appointment only at the Ponca City clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Make an appointment by calling 580-762-1641. COVID-19 testing is NOT available at the Blackwell clinic.

As for the COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 4,405,452 doses have been administered. This includes 2,329,449 Oklahomans receiving at least one dose and 1,965,685 Oklahomans that are fully vaccinated.
