OSDH reports 1,571 COVID-19 cases, 30 deaths and 3,683 recoveries on Tuesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 1,571 COVID-19 for Tuesday, putting Oklahoma at 376,424 COVID-19 cases overall. There are 30,404 CCOVID-19 active cases in Oklahoma.

OSDH has documented 30 virus-related deaths for Tuesday, putting Oklahoma’s death toll to 3,323. None of which were in local counties.

Kay County has 18 new COVID-19 cases and 58 recoveries for Tuesday, putting the county’s stats to 4,595 COVID-19 cases, 55 deaths and 4,107 recoveries. There are 433 active COVID-19 cases for Kay County, which is 40 less than Monday’s amount. Data for communities within Kay County is posted below:

Blackwell – 563 cases/12 deaths/496 recoveries

Newkirk – 378 cases/2 death/342 recoveries

Kaw City – 58 cases/1 death/54 recoveries

Braman – 19 cases/0 deaths/17 recoveries

 

As for new COVID-19 cases in local counties, there are 28 for Garfield, 25 for Payne, 15 for Washington, 11 for Logan, and two for Grant. There are no new COVID-19 cases for Noble and Pawnee counties. Data for local counties is posted below:

Noble County – 1,201 cases/8 deaths/1,099 recoveries

Grant County – 481 cases/5 deaths/441 recoveries

 

OSDH is also reporting 3,683 new recoveries for Tuesday, putting Oklahoma’s recovery total to 342,697. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.

The latest report shows there have been 278,151 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered in Oklahoma and that there are 35,822 completed series. The number of prime doses given is 242,329. There have also been 315,875 prime doses allocated and 174,900 boost doses allocated.

Health officials report that as of Tuesday, there have been 2,716,708 total negative test results, 21,093 hospitalizations and 1,454 people currently hospitalized due to COVID-19. There are 410 patients in ICU.
