The Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Indians released an update on social media Friday morning saying that due to the increase in positive COVID-19 cases across the community, and several cases among their staff, the Otoe-Missouria Tribal Complex on U.S. Highway 177 east of Red Rock will be closed until further notice.
A COVID-19 drive-thru testing site will be set up at the tribal complex on Thursday, June 18. More information is yet to come. Free testing is also available at all IHS clinics and through the county health departments.
So far, there have been two confirmed asymptomatic cases in the Otoe-Missouria community, and several with severe symptoms.
