Over 2,300 new COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Thursday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health is reporting 2,357 COVID-19 cases for Oklahoma on Thursday, Nov. 13. Oklahoma’s seen 144,691 COVID-19 cases overall as 22,784 cases are active.

Eleven additional virus-related deaths were reported statewide to put Oklahoma’s death toll to 1,481. None of the new deaths occurred in northern Oklahoma.

There are 20 new COVID-19 cases for Kay County, putting the stats to 1,173 COVID-19 cases, 18 deaths and 910 recoveries. As for the active cases in Kay County, there are 143 for Ponca City, 39 for Blackwell, 34 for Newkirk, 22 for Tonkawa, four for Kaw City and one for Braman. As for new cases in local counties, there are 34 for Payne, 28 for Garfield, 20 for Osage, 15 for Washington, 12 for Logan, 11 for Pawnee, eight for Noble and three for Grant.

Payne County – 3,319 cases/15 deaths/2,872 recoveries

Garfield County – 2,888 cases/31 deaths/2,488 recoveries

Osage County – 1,600 cases/17 deaths/1,407 recoveries

Washington County – 1,574 cases/43 deaths/1,352 recoveries

Kay County – 1,173 cases/18 deaths/910 recoveries

Logan County – 1,031 cases/3 deaths/892 recoveries

Pawnee County – 415 cases/5 deaths/341 recoveries

Noble County – 284 cases/3 deaths/200 recoveries

Grant County – 151 cases/2 deaths/118 recoveries

 

OSDH is also reporting 1,282 new recoveries on Thursday to put the statewide recovery total to 120,426. In order for a recovery to count, the recovered patient must not be deceased or hospitalized and it has been 14 days since their report.

Latest information from health officials as of Nov. 10 shows that 1,593,041 test results in Oklahoma have returned negative. There have been 9,682 total hospitalizations.
