Over 2,800 new COVID-19 cases reported statewide Wednesday

The Oklahoma State Department of Health documented 2,851 COVID-19 cases Wednesday.

 

According to the situation report, Oklahoma has 20,483 active cases and has seen 524,376 cases since early 2020. The new cases 7 day average is 2,271 and the CDC provisional death count is 9,030.

 

New data shows that Kay County has seen 5,949 COVID-19 cases, 132 deaths and 5,605 recoveries. Therefor, Kay County has 212 active cases.

 

If you’re needing to get tested for COVID-19, the Kay County Health Department has COVID-19 testing available by appointment only at the Ponca City clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Make an appointment by calling 580-762-1641. COVID-19 testing is NOT available at the Blackwell clinic.

PONCA CITY – 4,298 COVID-19 cases/86 deaths/4,064 recoveries

BLACKWELL – 805 COVID-19 cases/29 deaths/736 recoveries

NEWKIRK – 496 COVID-19 cases/7 deaths/478 recoveries

TONKAWA – 422 COVID-19 cases/15 deaths/388 recoveries

KAW CITY – 77 COVID-19 cases/3 deaths/69 recoveries

BRAMAN – 28 COVID-19 cases/1 death/27 recoveries

 

As for the COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 3,717,622 doses have been administered. This includes 2,057,606 Oklahomans receiving the first dose and 1,684,647 Oklahomans that are fully vaccinated.
