A Stillwater man has died after an accident, just after 2:30am Saturday morning, south of Stillwater. 22 year old Aaron Descher was driving a 2005 Ford southbound on Brush Creek Road, 1.3 miles south of Stillwater in Payne County, when he lost control on the gravel road.  The drug exited the road to the right before striking an embankment and partially rolling over ejecting Descher.  There were no other passengers in the vehicle.

Descher was pronounced dead at the scene from head injuries, by Stillwater Fire Department.

A report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol states that the odor of alcohol was present and attribute the cause of the accident to unsafe speed for the roadway. Descher was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
