Crystal Dawn Elliot was pronounced dead at the scene from injuries sustained in the two vehicle accident on State Highway 33 just East of Cushing.Elliot was one of six passengers in a vehicle driven by 63 year old Melinda Chain also of Cushing. Chain was transported by Air Evac to a Tulsa hospital and is listed in stable condition. The investigation into the accident is continuing but the OHP is reporting the Chain vehicle was traveling southbound and a pickup driven by 42 year old James Shipman was traveling eastbound when the collision occurred.Shipman is in critical condition at the St. Johns hospital in Tulsa. The other passengers in the Chain car included 61 year old Freda Hildbrand who was treated and released from a local hospital and four juvenile children who were in seat restraints and not hurt. The deceased passenger was pinned in the vehicle before being extracted by Cushing fire officials.
