As we announced on Monday, school and activities are cancelled for Ponca City Public Schools today, February 9, 2021. There will be no Distance Learning on Tuesday, February 9. However, in the event the weather continues to decline throughout the week, PCPS wants their students to be able to participate in Distance Learning.
Principals will be on site today and IF you need your child’s device or hot spot for the possibility of Distance Learning, please email or call the principal/principals of the site your children attend between 9:00 AM-12:00 PM today to arrange for curbside delivery. Curbside delivery of devices and hot spots will be from 12:00 PM-3:30 PM this afternoon.
Principals will post site-specific details on school Facebook pages. If you need a device and have extenuating circumstances and cannot pick-up devices or hot spots, please communicate with your child’s principal. PCPS will work with you as they get through these unusual circumstances.
At this point, no decisions have been made about Wednesday, February 10, or the remainder of the week. PCPS will keep you informed on a day-to-day basis as the weather situation develops.
