Po-Hi DECA Receives Awards At State Conference

Ponca City DECA recently attended the Oklahoma DECA State Career Development Conference in Tulsa. The 30 Ponca City DECA members competed against over 1,500 other Oklahoma DECA members in areas of finance, hospitality, marketing and management.

The chapter was very successful in their competitions and brought home the following awards: Bradley Robinson: 1st Place Restaurant and Food Service Management

Kristin Niemeyer, Johna Marchesoni and Madison Henderson: 3rd Place Sports and Entertainment Promotion Plan

Michaela Swinehart, Emily Ponce and Kaleb Cervantes: 1st Place Public Relations Project

Kase Anderson: 1st place Marketing Communication Series

Bradley Robinson, Macy Swinehart and Sydney Tyndall: 1st Place Learn and Earn Project

Morgan Didlake and Kiera Rader: 4th Place Hospitality and Tourism Operations Research

Erin Thomas, Hannah Dyer and Brendyn Burns: 8th Place Fashion Merchandising Promotion Plan Brianna Loney: 4th Place Fashion Merchandising Promotion Plan

Ash Patel and Max Jackson: 1st Place Entrepreneurship Promotion Project

Haley Coleman, Morgan Hand and Bailey James: 8th Place Advertising Campaign
