Over 200 former members of the Po-Hi Steppers gathered this past weekend to honor Coach Kristin Smith-Bohon on the 25th anniversary of her coaching career. In 1991 at the age of 22 and recently hired as an English teacher, Kristin was asked if she would take over the hi-stepper program. The coach at that time had just resigned. 25 years later, she is still coaching and the Po-Hi Steppers are still bringing home awards. The event at the Ponca City Country Club featured girls from all of her teams and many cards and letters from those who were not able to attend. Congratulations to all the Po-Hi Steppers and their award winning Head Coach Kristin Smith-Bohon.
