Police catch suspect after high speed pursuit.

A high speed pursuit by the Ponca City police ended when the driver of an Arizona tagged vehicle crashed.  Damon Thomas drove off after a Ponca City Police Officer attempted to stop the 39 year old for traffic violations.

The chase went to Pecan Road to East Hartford and ended when Thomas crashed into the entrance of Stoneridge.  The suspect then left his vehicle and fled on foot.  He was caught and arrested on charges of felony eluding and driving under suspension.  Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a weapon Thomas may have discarded during the chase.
