Ponca City High School Homecoming 2020 Attendants


The Homecoming Court consists of a freshman, sophomore, and junior class attendant and three senior class queen candidates.  The senior class has chosen the queen from among the senior queen candidates, and the winner will be announced before the football game Friday night.


Landrie Linder has been elected as the Freshman Attendant.  She is the daughter of Jody and Brook Linder.  Landrie is a member of the Po-Hi Steppers and a member of the Po-Hi Tennis team.


Landrie is escorted by William Curfman, son of William and Christina Curfman. William is a member of the Wildcat freshman football team. Presenting flowers to Landrie is Kylie Porter. Kylie is the daughter of Fabron and Bailey Porter. Kylie is a Student Council Freshman member and a member of the Po-Hi basketball team.


Karlie Irwin is the Sophomore Attendant.  Karlie is the daughter of Roger and Heather Irwin. She is a member of the Po-Hi Orchestra and a member of the Po-Hi Chorale.


Escorting Karlie is Blake Bristow, son of Tessa and Cory Cramer.  Blake is a member of the Wildcat varsity football team and a Student Council Sophomore Representative.


Presenting flowers to Karlie is Tynli Nickell. Tynli is the daughter of Tori and Keith Lamrouex. She is a member of the Po-Hi marching band, is a Student Council Sophomore Representative and is a competitive member of the Business Professionals of America.


The Junior Attendant is Abby McIntosh, daughter of Ryan and Jessah McIntosh. Abby is a member of the Po-Hi Steppers, Po-Hi Orchestra and is a Student Council Junior Representative.


Junior Tyson Dewberry is Abby’s escort. Tyson is the son of Jennifer Daine and Deandre Dewberry.  He is a member of the Wildcat varsity football team, basketball team and the Afro-Am club.


Presenting flowers to Abby is Hattie Steichen.  Hattie is the daughter of Jamie and Marty Steichen.  Hattie is the Junior Class President, a Junior Student Council Representative and is an FFA officer.



The 2020 Queen Candidates are Stephanie Henry, Cheyann Hutchison and Evelyn Larson(as pictured left to right).  Stephanie is the daughter of Kym and Steve Henry.  She is a member of the Po-Hi marching band, attends classes at NOC and is a unified for special needs at the Special Olympics. After graduation, Stephanie plans to complete 2 years at NOC for nursing before transfering to OSU for a medical degree in social science.


Escorting Stephanie is senior Josiah Bosworth.  Josiah is the son of David and Terry Bosworth.  He is a member of the Wildcat varsity football team and track and field team, a member of the Po-Hi symphonic orchestra and active in his church youth group. After graduation, Josiah plans to attend college and major in sports team management. Presenting flowers to Stephanie is Keirston Oakley.  Keirston is the daughter of Bobby and Joanna Porter. She is a Student Council Senior Representative.  After graduation, Keirston plans to attend college.



Queen Candidate Cheyann Hutchison is the granddaughter of Gary and Faye Scott. She is an athletic trainer and a Student Council Senior Representative. Cheyann’s future plans are to attend college and get a degree in sports management or sports business.


Escorting Cheyann is Senior Benjamin Klanica son of David and Mary Klanica. Benjamin is a member of  the Po-Hi varsity football team. After graduation, Benjamin plans to attend college.


Presenting flowers to Cheyann is Senior Carlie Badley.  Carlie is the daughter of Joe and Susan Badley.  She is a four year member of the Po-Hi varsity basketball team, and a member of Po-Hi’s National Honor Society and a Student Council Senior Representative. After graduation, Carlie plans to go to Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she will play basketball and earn a degree in biology.



Queen Candidate Evelyn Larson is the daughter of David and Paige Larson.  Evelyn is the DECA Vice President, a member of Po-Hi’s National Honor Society and a Student Council Senior Representative.  Evelyn’s post high school plans are to go to college to double major in marketing and communications, then work on a master’s degree in marketing analytics.


Escorting Evelyn is senior HB Bowers, son of Garrett and Melissa Bowers. HB is a member of the Wildcat varsity football team, Wildcat wrestling team and is an FFA officer.  After graduation, HB’s college plans include attending Oklahoma State University.


Presenting flowers to Evelyn is Emma Burch, daughter of Wes and Kellie Burch.  Emma is the Senior Class President, a Senior Student Council Representative and a member Po-Hi’s National Honor Society.  Emma’s plans after high school include attending the University of Central Oklahoma and majoring in journalism with a minor in political science.


Senior Emma Valgora will be presenting the Queen’s bouquet. Emma is the daughter of Jill Valgora. Emma is the Student Council Secretary, Vice President of the Po-Hi Chorale and is Miss Ponca City’s Outstanding Teen. Emma’s plans after high school are to major in elementary education and minor in music.


Presenting the Queen’s sash will be senior Ashana Patel. Ashana is the daughter of Dave and Nickie Patel. Ashana is Oklahoma DECA State Vice President, a Student Council Senior Representative and volunteers at Ponca City Hospital.  After graduation Ashana plans to attend the University of Oklahoma to major in Pre-Med and hopefully one day become a certified registered nurse anesthetist.


Payton Little, son of Paul and Tammie Little, will be crowning one of the queen candidates as the 2020 Homecoming Queen.  Payton is the Po-Hi Student Council President, a member of the Po-Hi National Honor Society and a youth group member at Pioneer Bible and Northeast Baptist Churches.  Payton plans to attend college to pursue a degree in multimedia journalism.

PCPS Student Council Advisor and Homecoming Sponsor Molly Carter said “The beautiful flowers that will be presented to the Homecoming Court were provided by Grand Flowers and Gifts.  We would like to thank the Po-Hi Steppers, the Marching Wildcats, and the Po-Hi Cheerleaders for assisting with the Homecoming ceremony. Thanks to all the students, faculty and parents who help make our Homecoming week such a success!”

The Homecoming ceremony will be under the direction of Molly Carter and Alondra Keen, Student Council Advisors.
