On Friday February 1 st , the Police Department recognized the recent promotion of Dana Fisher to Sergeant with a badge pinning ceremony. Dana was promoted by Chief Don Bohon to Sergeant on December 8, 2018. Dana is a lifelong Ponca City resident. Dana owns and operates a local auto accessories business in town. He began his career with the Police Department in 2007. He is one of the Police Departments Motorcycle Officers and thoroughly loves riding motorcycles even racing them competitively. He serves on the Ponca City Tactical Team and is an Accident Investigation Reconstructionist.
“I love working for the Police Department. It is a great job and a lot of fun. My family is very invested in Ponca City and it feels good giving back to the community as an Officer. I am very appreciative of Chief Bohon for this opportunity” says Sergeant Dana Fisher. Dana’s family includes his wife Chelsea Fisher, four children Darrian, Raecyn, Jaxson, Rylee, and one grandkid.
