Drug Take Back Day is this upcoming Saturday, Oct. 24.
The Ponca City Police Department will have a drive thru set up in the RecPlex parking lot on the 24th from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. to dispose of any medications.
The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.
