Ponca City Schools Present Annual Bands in Review Concert May 10

The Ponca City Public School bands will be presenting their annual Bands in Review Concert on Tuesday, May 10 beginning at 7:00 PM in the West Middle School Auditorium. The 80 member strong 6th Grade Beginning Band will start the show, followed by the 7th and 8th Grade Concert Band(s). The concert will conclude with the Ponca City High School Symphonic Band under the direction of Mr. David Christy.

The middle school programs are directed by Mr. Keith Crocker and Mr. Andrew Orr. Selections will include music from famous composers such as Frank Ticheli, Richard Saucedo, and Randall D. Standridge. Music from Rock to a Star Wars medley will be included in this eclectic program. The students have spent many hours preparing for this performance. Admission is free, and all are welcome.
