The Ponca City Wildcat swim team won first place on Tuesday night in a swim meet in Oologah. The overall totals were Ponca City, 161; Oologah-Talala, 146; Claremore, 22; Adair, 20; and Collinsville, two.
Oologah had the most points for the girls with 71 points, compared to 57 for Ponca City. Claremore had 22 points, Adair had eight points and Collinsville had two.
In the boys competition, Ponca City had 104 points. Oologah-Talala had 75 points and Adair had 12.
The swimmers have two more duals on the schedule including one on Jan. 13 against Guymon at home and on Jan. 17 at Stillwater. Ponca City will also host the Big 8 Conference swim meet on Jan. 21.
