Ponca City To Host Playoff Game

Sullins Stadium has been selected as a host site for a Class A semifinal game in the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association playoffs.

The game will be played on Friday night at 7 p.m. and will feature the Cashion Wildcats against the Pawhuska Huskies.

Cashion defeated Woodland 41-22 last week and Pawhuska defeated Elmore City-Pernell 47-0.

“The Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association requested for Ponca City to host the Class A state semifinal game. Semifinals are held at neutral sites,” said Jason Leavitt, athletic director for Ponca City Public Schools. “We are very excited to host both Cashion and Pawhuska. This is a great opportunity to utilize our outstanding facilities and do our part in being good stewards to fellow schools.”
