The vote will also ask that the tax become permanent so the issue does not get voted on every five years. Be informed by listening to Sunny 104.7 and NewsTalk 1230 for information on the sales tax. Mayor Homer Nicholson and city manager Craig Stephenson will be discussing the importance of this vote over the next several days leading to the Tuesday vote. The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tune in Tuesday night for all the results.
