McCord School has announced no classes will be held on Thursday. Earlier this afternoon, Ponca City Schools announced that schools will be closed tomorrow due to the teacher walkout.
The superintendent is holding a meeting for all certified staff tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM in the West Middle School Auditorium. Thanks to the more than 300 teachers who responded stating they would be willing to meet if we were closed.
From Newkirk Public Schools: No school Thursday, April 5th, 2018 due to the statewide teacher walkout.
Newkirk Public Schools Board of Education and Administration support their teachers. This will be a day to day walkout. We will let patrons know if school will be open by 3:00pm via Facebook and the all-call system for the following day.
- Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students at the elementary school.

Lunch – 11:30 – 12:30
