Arkansas City Public Schools is again participating in the Summer Food Service Program. The school district is also launching a new mobile meals bus in hopes of better serving the community.
The bus will feature booth-style seating, books, tablets, and free Wi-Fi for children to use while they eat.
Meals will be served for free to children ages 1 to 18. There is no sign-up or registration required and there is no charge. Sponsored by USD 470 and administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the program helps to ensure children get the healthy meals during the summer.
