UPDATED-Taser Deployed, No One Struck In Juvenile Alcohol Incident

(Update below)-A Ponca City Police officer was forced to deploy his Taser, but no one was struck.

A police release says the 15-year-old male was with another 16-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl possibly drinking and arguing in the area of Broadway and Lake. The male ran and, an officer deployed a Taser, but the subject was apprehended without the Taser striking anyone.

(UPDATED 10:30)-

The 15 year old girl was released to her parent and will be coming to Juvenile Municipal Court on MIP Alcohol and Public Intox charges.

The 16 year old girl was released to her parent and her charges will be handed by the Office of Juvenile Affairs.  They handle juveniles that commit felonies or have multiple misdemeanors.  Her charges were Public Intox & Resisting arrest.

The 15 year old male was released to a Kay County Deputy for transport to a Juvenile Detention Facility. His charges were A&B on an Officer, Resisting Arrest, Public Intox, Obstructing and MIP Alcohol.  A taser was deployed, however, the subject was not struck.
