The Tonkawa Alumni Association is partnering up with the Masonic Lodge this year for Tonkawa’s annual Lucky Duck Derby. The event will be held on Saturday, July 4, immediately following the parade in downtown at the Canal on West Grand Ave. located west of the Christian Church.
You can adopt a duck at the First National Bank, Gateway First Bank, Tonkawa Chamber Office, Sarah Campbell’s Dental Office, Mike’a Payne d/b/a Plush Salon and from a Tonkawa High School Alumni Board member.
Ducks are also available at Venture Foods in Tonkawa until July 3.
You can adopt a duck for the derby for $5, or 5 ducks for $20. Proceeds go towards THS Senior Scholarships and THS projects. You don’t need to be present to win.
