The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a head on collision on US Highway 60 late Tuesday Evening. The two car collision was at South Waverly. Jamye Carpenter, driving a Chevy Blazer, apparently fell asleep, edged into the left hand lane and ran into a Ford Windstar driven by Peggy Qualls. Both drivers are from Ponca City and were transported by ambulance to the hospital where each was treated and released.
