On March 26, 2021, the Cowley County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a one car accident on K-15 Highway near 232nd Rd South of Dexter, KS.
The black Chevy Tahoe was traveling northbound when it left the roadway and rolled, coming to rest in the east ditch. The Driver, identified as Tracy L. Carr, age 46 of Tulsa, Ok and the passenger, identified as Lindsey Nicole Nightengale, age 41 of Wichita, Ks., were ejected from the vehicle and declared deceased on scene. The other passenger, identified as Michael Clark, age 40 of Tulsa, Ok, was transported by ambulance to the South Central Medical Center for his injuries. Further investigation to be completed.
