The driver of a  Lincoln Towncar, Marie Graham of Finley OK, was pronounced dead  on arrival at the Pushmataha County Emergency Room from massive injuries.  The 71 year old woman had swerved to avoid hitting a dog in the roadway and went off the road, striking a culvert and impacting the ground after going airborne.  The vehicle then struck a tree.  The accident occurred around 10 last night, one mile north of Finley, OK.

Another fatal accident happened yesterday evening north of Weatherford when a Pickup driven by Edgar Silva of Sentinel left the road and tried to re-enter the roadway.  He was struck head-on by a Mack semi truck, driven by Kameron Williams of Hydro.  There was no trailer attached to the semi.  Another semi, with a trailer, hit the debris from the collision but the driver was uninjured.  The driver of the Mack semi also was uninjured.  Silva was pinned for an hour before being freed by  the Weatherford Fire Department.  He was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries.
