Unattended death in Tonkawa indicates no foul play.

Early this week, the  Tonkawa Fire & Police Department responded to the Wheat Ridge Apartments on a report of an unattended death. The Kay County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office were notified. At this time we do not believe there was any evidence of foul play, contrary to rumors that may be circulating. There was no evidence of any crime committed.
