Vehicle Collision Near Marland

A personal injury collision occurred early yesterday  morning on State Highway 156 west of Marland, OK in Noble County.

A 2005 Buick Le Sabre was stopped on the road preparing to make a left hand turn into a private drive when a 2013 Chevy Pickup driven by Joseph Leiding from Marland collided with the Buick driven by Joshua Hunter from Humansville, Missouri.  Hunter was transported by Tonkawa ambulance to Alliance Health Ponca City treated and released with an arm injury.

Austin Brown from Huntsville Texas was a passenger in the Buick and was Air Evac by helicopter to OU Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital in Oklahoma City.  The 25 year old was admitted in critical condition with trunk internal injuries.

Also a passenger in the Buick was 22 year old Mackenzie Demers of Helena Montana.  Deimers was pinned in the vehicle for 15 minutes before being freed by the Tonkawa and Ponca City Fire Departments.  He was also airlifted to OU Medical Center in critical condition with  trunk internal injuries.

The 26 year old driver of the Pickup was not injured.
