The 20th annual Veterans Day parade is approaching.
It’s Ponca City’s way of saying thank you to local veterans from all service branches.
A fly-in breakfast will start the November 5th activities. Displays at the Ponca City Airport will feature military vehicles and aircraft from 7 to 10 a.m.
The parade begins at 10:45 a.m. on Grand Avenue. It will end in War memorial park, where re-enactors from all the major conflicts will be on display in period uniforms. Classic military vehicles and other gear will be on display as well.
