2.3 million Oklahomans have registered to vote ahead of Tuesday’s General Election, that an increase of about 175,000 over the last mid-terms.  Republicans make up over 51% of voters in the state, Democrats 29.5 percent, and libertarians at 18 percent.  This year marks the first year that Democrats, who as recently as 2014 were the state’s largest political party, make up less than 40% of voters statewide.

Locally, in person early voting continues today at your County Election Board. Hours are from 8am ’til 6pm Thursday (11/3) and Friday (11/4), and Saturday from 8am ‘til 2pm.  For Kay County residents, you can cast your vote at the Kay County Administration Building in Newkirk.  For questions, contact the election board at (580) 362 2130
