* WINDS…NORTH TO NORTHEAST WIND AT 5 TO 10 MPH
* OTHER IMPACTS…ICE ACCUMULATIONS BY SATURDAY MAY BE ENOUGH TO CAUSE POWER OUTAGES. BRIDGES… OVERPASSES… AND SECONDARY ROADS MAY BECOME SLICK AND HAZARDOUS… ESPECIALLY TONIGHT INTO SATURDAY.

A dangerous winter storm will impact Oklahoma and North Texas through Sunday. Significant accumulations of ice will likely occur across parts of the region…Especially across parts of
Western and Northern Oklahoma. Power-line and tree damage…Along with travel problems will be possible this upcoming weekend from the ice. An ice storm warning is in effect for approximately the
Northern half Oklahoma through 6 am Sunday…Where greater than one-quarter of an inch of ice accumulations will be possible. South of the the ice storm warning…A freezing rain advisory is
in effect along the I-44 corridor through 6 pm Saturday…Where a tenth to near one-quarter of inch of ice accumulations will be possible.
