Fire Chief Travis Harris says the meal not only serves the public, but is a very important funding source: https://www.myhometownpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/TRAVIS-HARRIS-FUNDRAISER.mp3Harris says money raised will go toward conversion of an ex-military truck to a heavy brush truck, which carries more water to fight large wildland fires.The department and its’ firefighters are selling tickets for a chance to win an AR-15. Those tickets are $5 each, or five for $20. They can be bought at the fish fry, from any Kildare firefighter, or at the department’s annual meeting in November.The fish fry costs whatever you choose to donate.
