A local man must register as a sex offender after a no-contest plea.
57-year-old Theodore Spraggins entered the plea after being charged with felony counts of first degree rape, kidnapping, second degree arson and possession of a firearm during a commission of a felony.
He was sentenced to 15 years in prison with credit for time already served.
Judge Lee Turner presided in the case.
