She’s a well-known local historian, and a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution). Her presentation covers the history of the state flag beginning with its birth in 1907, extending through the current design from 1925.Reports will be presented by Kay County Sheriff Steve Kelley, District Attorney Brian Hermanson, and Representative Steve Vaughan.The Kay County Republican Party meeting begins at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Pioneer Technology Center in Ponca City, room A101, in the Seminar Center East area.For information contact Charlotte Smith at 765-8934 .
