FROM A NEWS RELEASE:
A little over a year ago two duck hunters braved Winter Storm Goliath to pursue their passion. Kaw Lake can be an unforgiving place especially in bad weather. Unfortunately Chase Morland and Craig Strickland never returned from that trip.
The people of Kay county and surrounding areas mobilized, as they always do in the face of tragedy, to help, pray, and give support to the families of the hunters. The hunting and music communities around the world followed the search for the hunters. Hundreds of volunteers and first responders spent countless hours searching for the men.
Chase and Craig are now gone from us, but their memories and spirit still remain!
